All rates on our Hire Rates page are for 7 nights. Motorhomes can be booked in blocks of 7 nights.
Additional nights are available by request.
Late return will incur additional night charges of £65.

Please note: A non returnable deposit of £200 is payable in order to secure the booking.
Full payment required 2 weeks prior to hire date.
A £1000 security/insurance excess is required using Credit/Debit Card, before the Hire of the Motorhome.
The security is unused if and when the vehicle is returned without damage and on condition there are no insurance/motoring offences to be paid (under the terms of the Terms and Conditions).
Insurance
Unfortunately we do have some restrictions of hire, as determined by the insurance company. If you fall into the following categories, please contact us, as we may be able to arrange cover with the insurance.
- Hirers aged 25 or under, or over 70 unless a full UK or EU driving licence has been held for 24 months.
- Persons who have been convicted of an offence in connection with the driving of a motor vehicle or motorcycle and/or have had their driving licence endorsed or suspended or penalty points imposed. Parking and not more than two speeding offences in the past 3 years may be ignored. “Spent” convictions may be ignored.
- Persons who have any mental or physical defect or infirmity or suffers from fits, deabetes or any heart complaint.
- Persons who have had their insurance declined and/or renewal refused and/or special insurance terms imposed as a result of claims experience and/or have had their insurance or cover cancelled by any Motor Insurer.
- Persons engaged wholly or partly in professional entertainment or professional sports person.
- Jockeys and persons connected with racing of any sort.
- Undergraduates and/or students under 25 years of age.
- Persons who, whilst driving, have been involved in more that one accident during the past 3 years.
- Foreign Service Personnel other than persons born in the UK.
Terms and Conditions (as on our Rental Agreement)
Charges and Payment
- Rental charges will continue until the vehicle is returned in a serviceable condition by the customer. In the event of a total loss, charges will continue until a settlement for the value of the vehicle is received.
- All vehicles are provided with a full tank of fuel. Any cost of refuelling the vehicle upon termination of rental will be charged to the customer. This will include fuel used between the collection point and the nearest refuelling depot.
- Parking charges for any traffic violations and clamping fees will be settled directly by the customer with the appropriate traffic authority in accordance with the terms of the rental agreement. If for any reason Morecambe Motorhome Hire is required to settle these charges, they will be charged to the customer, together with an administration fee.
- Rental charges will include breakdown cover in mainland UK. In the event that the vehicle remains immobile, a replacement vehicle will be provided, or alternative arrangements agreed with the driver. Morecambe Motorhome Hire will not be responsible for any consequential losses incurred by the customer as a result of such breakdown.
Delivery and Collection
- Delivery and collection is a service provided by Morecambe Motorhome Hire in additional to the rental of the vehicle and must be requested by the customer and accepted by Morecambe Motorhome Hire. Depending on the delivery and collection place, this service may be provided free of charge, other than any fuel costs from and to Morecambe Motorhome Hire base.
- Morecambe Motorhome Hire will attempt to deliver the Motorhome as close to the normal pickup time (2pm) as is possible.
- The Motorhome will be collected from the same place as the delivery, unless by prior arrangement.
- If having agreed a specific time and place for collection, the Motorhome is not available, Morecambe Motorhome Hire may levy a charge for abortive collection and the vehicle will remain on rent and subject to the customer’s insurance cover until such time as it is collected and returned to the rental location.
Unattended Returns
- Where a Motorhome is returned to Morecambe Motorhome Hire out of hours, the vehicle will remain on rent until Morecambe Motorhome Hire re-opens and the Motorhome is inspected.
Rental Duration
- Motorhomes are normally rented on a weekly rate according to the agreed charge. Alternative durations may be agreed with Morecambe Motorhome Hire, hourly rates, extra or less days. In any event, the duration of rental and consequences of extension will be agreed by the parties in advance of rental. Morecambe Motorhome Hire will only accept an extension of the rental if specifically agreed by the parties and in the manner agreed and assuming availability.
- The maximum period for which you are allowed to keep the Motorhome under this agreement is from the Date and Time Out to the Date and Time Due Back. However, Morecambe Motorhome Hire will consider a request to extend the rental period where such request is received prior to the termination of the agreed rental period. In the event that such notice is not received, Morecambe Motorhome Hire may exercise its right to terminate the rental agreement and use such means as it chooses to recover the Motorhome or request its return.
- Morecambe Motorhome Hire may, upon reasonable notice, request the return of the vehicle for any necessary servicing or return to the supplier, subject to the supply of an alternative equivalent Motorhome.
Vehicle Condition
- The condition of the Motorhome at the commencement of rental will be agreed with the customer. In the event that a customer takes unattended delivery of a Motorhome, Morecambe Motorhome Hire will not accept responsibility for any damage not recorded as damage out, unless the customer informs Morecambe Motorhome Hire of any additional damage before driving the vehicle, or within one hour of the normal opening hours of Morecambe Motorhome Hire.
- Morecambe Motorhome Hire requires the vehicle to be returned, normal wear and tear excepted, in the same condition as when rented to the customer. If special cleaning is required for whatever reason, Morecambe Motorhome Hire will make a separate charge to cover any cleaning and/or repair work required.
- Morecambe Motorhome Hire will ensure that all vehicles supplied are cleaned and prepared to the highest standards. Details of the pre-rental condition will be provided with each Motorhome, which will have been thoroughly checked and maintained to the manufacturers required standards.
Personal Property
- Morecambe Motorhome Hire accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to the customer’s personal property left in the vehicle, other than any loss resulting from any negligence on the part of Morecambe Motorhome Hire. The customer will ensure that the vehicle is checked for any personal items of property prior to its return.
Insurance
- Morecambe Motorhome Hire will provide insurance cover and, as a matter of course will inspect the driving licence of every driver prior to the commencement of every rental. Morecambe Motorhome Hire may decline to authorise any driver whose experience, age or driving record does not satisfy its insurance underwriting requirements.
- Only authorised drivers (the person(s) who signed the agreement) will be insured to drive the Motorhome. In the event that the Motorhome is involved in an incident, when an unauthorised person has custody or control of the vehicle, Morecambe Motorhome Hire will hold the customer responsible for any losses it incurs.
- Our insurance will NOT give you complete cover. The amount for which you are not covered is called the Excess.
- Not withstanding the use of Morecambe Motorhome Hire insurance, Morecambe Motorhome Hire will hold the customer responsible for any loss or damage caused as a result of negligence or improper use of the Motorhome. This includes, but is not limited to, burns to the interior, upholstery damage, sidewall damage to tyres, damage above cab height, lost or damaged keys, accessories, tyres, tools or equipment etc.
- In the event of an accident, the provided Accident Form must be filled in and the third party details must be obtained, plus any relevant witness details.
- The Motorhome should be secured at all times. If it is left unlocked, or left in a vulnerable situation, the total liability is with the hirer.
Loss of Use
- In the event of damage or loss sustained to the Motorhome during the rental, Morecambe Motorhome Hire will inform the customer and arrange repair of the vehicle without delay. Morecambe Motorhome Hire will be entitled to hold the customer responsible for loss of use of the Motorhome. This loss of use will apply from the time the Motorhome is incapable of use until its repair. Similarly, should the vehicle be stolen or deemed irreparable, the loss of use will continue until settlement of the value of the vehicle is obtained from the insurers or customer.
The Motorhome Must Not:
- Be used otherwise than on a public highway or a suitably paved area which is designed to carry motor vehicles.
- Be used to propel or tow any other vehicle or trailer, unless it is equipped for the purpose and we have given our permission.
- Be used to carry passengers for hire or reward or for any driving tuition.
- Be used for any unlawful purposes, or for racing, pacemaking, competitions or speed testing, nor must it be used in any unlawful manner.
- Be used in such a manner that it is overloaded (whether in total or in respect of any axle or other part) or is carrying more passengers or goods than it was designed to carry or may lawfully carry.
- Be used in such a way as to make the insurance on the vehicle invalid.
- Be used in breach of any relevant legislation, regulation or byelaw from time to time in force.
- Be used by any person who is not licensed and insured to use it.
- Be used by any person who is under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Be used in the event of any mechanical, electrical or structural failure or damage if further damage might be caused as a result.
- Be altered or added to in any way whatsoever.
Overseas Travel
- Rates agreed are for travel within mainland UK only. Separate charges apply for continental travel and the customer’s insurance must indemnify Morecambe Motorhome Hire for the cost of repatriation of the vehicle in the event of accident or mechanical failure.
Termination of the Agreement
- Morecambe Motorhome Hire are entitled to terminate this agreement if you break any of its Terms and Conditions and you must then return the Motorhome immediately.
