Gateway to the Lakes
Morecambe Bay Motorhome Hire is based within easy access of the Lake District. There are more than 3,500 Kilometres of rights of way, where you can walk or cycle. 55 percent of the National Park is open for walking.

Silverdale, Lancashire
The area around Arnside and Silverdale is an area of outstanding natural beauty. The two villages are on the coastline of Morecambe Bay and are surrounded by deciduous woodlands, limestone grasslands and coastal salt marshes and are enclosed by low limestone hills. Nearby Arnside Knott offers sweeping sea views.
Newby Bridge
Newby Bridge was once part of Lancashire and is situated by the River Leven at the southern tip of Lake Windermere.
Windermere and Bowness, Lake District
Windermere is the largest natural lake in England and is fed by numerous rivers. Bowness on Windermere is probably the most popular holiday resort in the Lake District.
Keswick, Lake District
Keswick nestles on the shores of Derwentwater. There is a wide variety of shops, restaurants, cafes, gift shops and art galleries. There are lots of great walks and activities to keep the whole family occupied.
Grasmere, Lake District
Grasmere is a charming village in the heart of the Lake District. The lake is to the south of Grasmere, with gentle walks.
Dove Cottage and Rydal Mount, where William Wordsworth lived, are to be found in Grasmere.
Buttermere, Lake District
The name Buttermere means “the Lake by the dairy pastures”. It is a relatively small lake and offers some of the walking in the Lakes. There is a footpath running around the perimeter of the lake and walks to the summits of Haystacks and Red Pike.
Castlerigg, nr Keswick, Lake District
Castlerigg is located near Keswick and the Stone Circle is one of the most impressive prehistoric monuments in Britain. Castlerigg Hall has a camping and caravan site and is ideally located to explore the area.
Brotherswater, Lake District
Located close to Kirkstone Pass and south of Ullswater, Brotherswater is surrounded by breathtaking scenery.
Ullswater, Lake District
Ullswater is the second largest lake in the Lake District.
There are camp sites stay and top restaurants and cafes to visit, as well the incredible views and walks.
